There’s something extra special about photographing a new location for the first time, and Danielle and Christopher’s engagement shoot at Hartford City Hall in Connecticut did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, I was blown away by the architecture, light, and classic elegance of this iconic building.

Hartford City Hall is a truly magnificent spot for engagement photos — grand without feeling stiff, timeless yet full of character. It was absolutely worth the drive from NYC, and I can already tell this will be a location I recommend often to couples looking for a refined, romantic backdrop in Connecticut.

Danielle and Christopher were a dream to photograph. Cool, friendly, and completely natural in front of the camera, they made the session feel effortless. Their connection and ease with one another allowed us to create images that felt authentic, relaxed, and full of emotion — the best kind of engagement photos.
